REVIEW ARTIKEL: Interaksi Obat Tamoxifen Terhadap Konsumsi Tanaman dan Buah-Buahan Dalam Terapi Kanker Payudara

Abstract


Hingga akhir tahun 2020, kanker payudara menjadi kasus kanker yang paling banyak terdiagnosa. Di Indonesia, terdapat 68.858 kasus atau 16,6% dari total 348.809 kasus kanker. Enzim CYP2D6 dan CYP3A4/5 berperan dalam mengaktivasi tamoxifen, sebagai terapi adjuvan standar lini pertama yang baik untuk pasien pre-menopause maupun post-menopause kanker payudara. Peninjauan literatur untuk menyelidiki peran penting dan memberikan gambaran data terkini mengenai tanaman dan buah-buahan yang mempengaruhi metabolisme tamoxifen dalam pengobatan kanker payudara. Pencarian publikasi dari database akademis seperti Google Scholar, Scopus, ScienceDirect, PubMed, dan Google standar. Istilah pencarian yang digunakan seperti kanker payudara, tamoxifen, kunyit, ginseng, kedelai, dan jeruk bali. Keragaman respons terapeutik yang dihasilkan mempengaruhi efektivitas Tamoxifen, efek samping, kekambuhan dan kelangsungan hidup pasien. Tinjauan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya mengintegrasikan pola makan ke dalam praktik klinis untuk meningkatkan kemanjuran pengobatan dan mengurangi efek samping.
