Abstract

Stunting remains a priority health problem in Indonesia, including in Cikunir Village, Singaparna Subdistrict, Tasikmalaya Regency, which has been designated a stunting locus with an increasing case trend over the last three years, namely 107 cases in 2023 and 123 cases in 2024. Low family nutrition literacy, limited sustainable educational media, and minimal use of digital technology by posyandu cadres were the root problems underlying this community service activity. This activity aimed to develop and implement a digital-based nutrition education medium through the Kitabesti.ID platform to strengthen family nutrition literacy, enhance the capacity of posyandu cadres, and support independent monitoring of toddler growth and development. The implementation method consisted of five stages: socialization, training, technology application, mentoring and evaluation, and program sustainability, involving the Cikunir Village Posyandu Cadre Group as the partner, comprising 12 cadres from 12 assisted posyandu. The results showed that all 12 cadres (100%) were able to operate the Kita Besti platform independently, exceeding the proposal target of ≥ 80%. A total of 279 toddler records and 6 pregnant-woman records, with 283 growth-monitoring entries, were successfully recorded in the system. Through the digital monitoring feature, 32 undernourished toddlers, 57 stunted toddlers, and 1 pregnant woman with Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) were identified as the basis for follow-up by cadres together with health workers. The digitalization of nutrition education through the Kita Besti Program proved effective in expanding access to health information, strengthening the capacity of posyandu cadres, and increasing family participation in growth monitoring, thereby contributing to the acceleration of stunting prevention in Cikunir Village
