Abstract

Kalentambo Village is a village with significant rice farming potential. Currently, Kalentambo Village serves as a buffer zone for the Patimban port industrial area, which has resulted in significant changes in village conditions. Under these conditions, Kalentambo Village requires identification of potential and problems to support regional development planning that is appropriate to the conditions of the Kalentambo Village community. The purpose of this Community Service Program (PKM) activity is to identify potential and problems in the Kalentambo Village area. On July 12, 2025, a village planning development was carried out using a participatory planning approach and participatory mapping, attended by nearly 50 residents. This activity included three main stages: FGDs and interviews, field observations, and analysis. From this series of activities, three things were produced: a hamlet boundary map, a list of potential and problems, and community aspirations. From the results of this community-based planning, it was revealed that Kalentambo Village was prioritized to maintain its agricultural area and also sought to seize opportunities as a buffer zone for the Patimban port industrial area
