Analisis Kesiapan Pengembangan Laboratorium Kesehatan Masyarakat di Laboratorium Kesehatan Daerah Provinsi DKI Jakarta Tahun 2024

Abstract


Background: Indonesia is implementing health system transformation to increase capacity and resilience of the health system. Public Health Laboratories play an important role in health system transformation. DKI Jakarta Province already has one DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Laboratory but does not have a City-Level Public Health Laboratory. Objective: to analyze the readiness of Public Health Laboratory development in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Laboratory in 2024 by identifying internal and external factors in the form of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that affect the readiness of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Laboratory in implementing the development of the City-Level Health Laboratory. Method: This study is a qualitative study. The study was conducted at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Laboratory in August 2024. Respondents were 7 representatives of the Dinas Kesehatan, Regional Health Laboratory, and service users. Results: the study showed the factors influencing the readiness of the development of the City-Level Public Health Laboratory were the need to bring laboratory services closer to the community, support from the Dinas Kesehatan, applicable regulations, as well as the readiness of SOPs, human resources, and service quality standards. Total EFE score of 3.29 and IFE score of 3.07 indicating the position of cell I in the IE Matrix which is in accordance with the grow and build strategy so that the S-O (Strength-Opportunity) strategy is recommended in the form of: 1) strengthening coordination with the Health Office, 2) optimizing new market segments, 3) diversifying services, and 4) ensuring standardization of service quality in the City Level Public Health Laboratory. Suggestion: The DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Laboratory is ready to develop the City Level Public Health Laboratory using the S-O (Strength-Opportunity) strategy
