Author Guidelines

information Technology Journal (JTI) in the form of research results, concepts of thinking or creative and innovative ideas that are useful to support the advancement of science, education and information technology. Manuscripts of research results must be prepared in accordance with the systematics as follows:
  1. Title, describes the main contents of the article in a concise and clear manner, written in Indonesian and English. The title of the article in Indonesian is printed in large letters in the middle using the font 11 Calibri. English titles are italicized and each word is typed in capital letters.
  2. Name of author, without title. The number of authors listed in the article is at least 1 person, if the author consists of 4 people or more, which is listed below the article title.
  3. Address In the form of an agency where the author works or a personal address equipped with an E-mail address (For correspondence writers).
  4. Abstract, written in Indonesian and English and is the essence of all writing, including: problems, objectives, methods, results and conclusions (IMRAD: Introduction, Method, Result, and Discussion). Abstracts are written in full sentences up to 250 words. Below the abstract is included 3-5 keywords
  5. Introduction includes background problems, no more than 2 pages long.
  6. Materials and Methods, contains an explanation of the design, population, sample, variables, materials and tools used, time and place
  7. Results, clearly stated in the form of narration and the data entered are related to the purpose of the study, if necessary accompanied by images, graphs or diagrams. Each table is accompanied by a brief explanation and does not repeat the data that can be read in the table.
  8. Discussion, explain the meaning of the results of research which includes: facts, theories and opinions.
  9. Conclusions and suggestions, in the form of conclusions of research results in the form of narratives that refer to the research objectives. Suggestions contain suggestions that can be given by the author based on the results of the study.
  10. Citations, references and citations using enclosed reference techniques (name, year).
  11. Literature, reference sources (literature) as far as possible as a literature published in the last 10 years are the results of research reports and scientific articles. The literature is organized according to the Harvard System.

The text sent is typed on HVS paper with the MS Word program, A4 paper size (210X297 mm) with a distance of 1 space, font 11 Calibri, 3 cm paper boundary from the left edge of 2.5 cm and the bottom, right and top edges.

Delivery process

The author clicks the "Register" button to register. Then the author is taken to the online form filling page. After finishing filling out the form, click the register button at the bottom, the author will be taken to the next page where the author must click the "Make a New Submission" button. After that the author will be taken to the article submission page through the following 5 steps:

  • Step 1 (start) the author ticks all the list of Submission Requirements after completing click save and continue.
  • Step 2 (upload submission) the author uploads the file by clicking upload file-select article component-select article text then upload the file that will be sent. When finished click continue-click complete-and click save and continue.
  • Step 3 (enter metadata) the author fills in the title of the article, abstract, keyword and references after finishing click save and continue.
  • Step 4 (confirmation) click finish submission then click ok.
  • Step 5 (next step) until this stage the author has successfully uploaded a file that will be sent to the editor's journal. After that the author will receive a confirmation email about the submission and will be able to see the progress of the submission through the editorial process by going to the journal address site using the username and password that has been created previously.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
